Microneedling

Microneedling is a cutting-edge procedure that harnesses your skin's innate ability to heal and renew. Using a device with ultra-fine needles, we create controlled micro-injuries on the surface of your skin. This triggers your skin's healing response, prompting the production of collagen and elastin – the foundational elements for firm, smooth, and youthful skin.

Discover the epitome of skincare synergy with our Microneedling with Chemical Peel Fusion, a dynamic treatment that combines two powerhouse techniques for unparalleled results. Microneedling and chemical peels are both renowned for their individual benefits, but when combined, their effects are magnified. Microneedling creates micro-channels that enhance the absorption of the chemical peel's active ingredients, ensuring they penetrate deeper and work more effectively.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does is hurt?

NO!! A topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. The most uncomfortable thing is the vibration on the nose that may cause you to sneeze.

How often should I get microneedling done?

For best results, sessions are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart. A series of 3-6 treatments is usually recommended. I recommend treatments begin in the fall and end in the spring. Microneedling is not typically done in the summer due to the increased risk of sun exposure and its effects on post-treatment skin.

Is microneedling safe for all skin types?

Generally, it is safe for everyone! However, it is not recommended for individuals with active inflamed acne, rosacea, or other inflammatory skin conditions.

What is the downtime and recovery like after a microneedling treatment?

Recovery time is minimal. Redness and minor irritation are common for the first 24-48 hours. Most people liken the look and feel afterward to a sunburn. If combined with a chemical peel, recovery time may extend to 7-10 days, depending on the depth of the peel used. For more information about chemical peels click here.

Are at-home microneedling devices effective?

At-home devices, like derma rollers, offer superficial results and carry risks of infection, and can cause micro-tears to the skin, if not used properly. Professional treatments are more effective and safer, as they penetrate deeper and use sterile techniques.

Can microneedling treat scars & stretch marks?

YES!! It's very effective for treating acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks by promoting new collagen and skin remodeling. Check out this client's transformation after only 4 micro+peel sessions.
